Ubi loves their DRM

Well, it looks like more of the same from the big proponents of DRM. Ubi is claiming a success. I don't know about you, but if people are going to pirate, they'll do it, and they'll rip the DRM right out. So, that only leaves one type of person stuck with it. The paying customer. Why in the hell would your punish the only people that're giving you money?
It seems to me the indies have it right. The Humble Indie Bundle comes with zero DRM, and still hits over a million dollars every time. Not only that, only a small portion of people pay less than $1. Ubi and the other crazies need to see where the future's headed if they don't want to lose the only people that ever supported them.

  1. I don't believe in DRM any more. I think it's a pretty awful way to inhibit people who have multiple computers or playback devices.

  10. These DRMs get usually cracked day one. I still don't understand, why do these big companies bother and farther more, why do they need to fuck over the real customers.
